Sponsored jointly by the Southwest Academy of Management and the Eastern Academy of Management, Organization Management Journal (OMJ) is an open access, double-anonymous peer-reviewed online publication focused on the diffusion of articles on all aspects of management. OMJ is designed as a forum for broad philosophical, social, and practical thought about management and organizing.

OMJ is currently listed as a “C” journal by The Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), has a positive Journalytics rating by Cabells, and has an acceptance rate of 6%. We are interested in papers that address the interface between theoretical insight and practical application and enhance the teaching of management. Most articles submitted to OMJ receive an initial editorial review within two weeks and an overall decision within eight weeks.

OMJ is international in scope and is organized into four distinct sections: Current Empirical Research, Emerging Conceptual Scholarship, Teaching & Learning, and Essays. OMJ publishes scholarly empirical and theoretical papers, review articles, essays and resources for management educators. Appropriate domains include organizational behavior, business strategy and policy, organizational theory, human resource management, and management education.

OMJ leadership is comprised of representatives from both SWAM and EAM.  Currently serving as Co-Editors of the journal are Dr. Robert Yawson, Quinnipiac University (robert.yawson@qu.edu) and Dr. Vance Johnson Lewis, The University of Central Arkansas (vlewis@uca.edu).  The journal is also comprised of multiple Associate Editors and Advisory Board Members.
